You can only get mining rewards after following a few key steps. Confirm whether you have:

• Staked a minimum of $100 worth of WNT.
• Enabled business mode on your device.
• Connect your Metamask wallet to your explorer.
• The minimum usage uptime per week is 10 hours. You must use your device for at least 10 hours a week to earn.

Our reward model is guided by an algorithm that takes into account certain criteria, which include your staking score, uptime, number of unique connections, device tier, location and other factors. At a specific time on Friday, which is the reward distribution day, the system takes a snapshot of every Wicrypt account’s state. Rewards are distributed accordingly to each user based on how much they met the reward criteria.

• The infinite reward model follows a deflationary pattern, steadily reducing the payout each week. The total reward to be distributed to the host’s miner is 20% of the total supply WNT, which is 40 million $WNT. Using the deflationary trend, we expect the incentives to be distributed for at least four years. The model’s advantage is that it generates high demand for $WNT, resulting in a healthy token economy and shielding the project from pump-and-dump techniques.

• The system takes into account historical records of user performance; this is to ensure that all those who have a proven track record of consistency in performance are rewarded for their hard work and prevent users from gaming the system. This might be the reason someone that performed less for the current week might earn more than another person that performed more.
• The staking score might be another reason, not the staking amount. The staking score is the number 1 factor the system considers during reward distribution. Fixed staking gives a higher staking score; thus, someone with a $1000 fixed stake of 12 months will have a higher staking score than another person with a $5000 flexible stake. So keep an eye out in the leaderboard for staking score numbers.

Because of the system’s dynamic structure, you cannot earn a fixed weekly sum. Every day, new users join the network, and our incentive model ensures that many characteristics are taken into account during award distribution. Because these factors can have different values for each user, obtaining a fixed weekly payment is very difficult.

Suppose you paid N300,000 ($500) for a Samsung phone or an iPhone. You can use that phone and a monthly data plan without receiving anything in return.
