A Staking Score is the score earned by a user for staking some WNT. You can read more on the Whitepaper. The score is determined by:
1. The type of staking (fixed staking earns more staking score)
2. The duration of staking (the longer the period the WNT is staked, the more the staking score)
3. The amount of WNT staked (the more WNT staked, the more the staking score)
The $WNT you have staked belongs to you and also earns you interest which you can withdraw at any time.
Yes! On the app, you can top up a flexible stake using the “Top up stake” button, but you would need to force un-stake a fixed stake before you can top up and re-stake using the “Force unstake” button. On the web, you can un-stake a flexible stake, top-up, and then re-stake. To force un-stake a fixed stake on the web, kindly contact Wicrypt support for assistance.
The more a user’s staking score, the more the user’s mining power. Simply means, the more WNT the user can mine. Note that other mining criteria need to be considered.
Staking rewards on the mobile app will only appear if you have up to 5 $WNT as a claimable reward. If you cannot see your staking reward on your mobile app, your reward is less than 5 $WNT.
